At first I wanted to paint this cuckoo in a more decorative style, but I thought that its green color would be better emphasized by a maroon background and as a result, the picture turned out to be realistic. I really like this result, I even thought that I need to write more in a realistic style, it conveys the beauty of our world as it is (although I also like grunge and rock in art).
